Hypebeast visits Jacky Tsai’s collaboration with Shanghai Tang for the label’s twentieth anniversary. In conversation with Nate Bodansky, Tsai discusses the relationship between fashion and artistic expression, the research behind working in different materials, and the cultural experiences that inform his imagery.
Accompanied by portraits and collection photographs, the feature follows the development of A Garden of Vibrant Dreams, connecting original artworks with clothing, accessories and objects for the home.
