Art for Nature — Jacky Tsai with WWF
Project archive · 2021 — art T-shirts and face-mask gift sets for a charitable initiative.
01st Jan 2021
In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jacky Tsai collaborated with WWF and One Planet Foundation on a charitable project that brought his artwork into everyday life through art T-shirts and face-mask gift sets.
Archive note: The project is recorded by year; the exact launch date is not documented.
The project featured different editions and configurations, including an art T-shirt inspired by Tiger in Wonderland (2019), patterned face masks and an artist-designed silk mask. Across the textiles and packaging, animals, butterflies and botanical forms carried Tsai’s colourful visual language into objects closely connected with daily life during the pandemic.
An augmented-reality-enabled mask added an interactive digital dimension to the project, extending the printed artwork beyond its physical surface. It continued Tsai’s exploration of how images can move between art, clothing and digital experiences.
Bringing together artistic expression and a charitable purpose, the project connected Tsai’s interest in the natural world with a shared moment of care and participation.
