In September 2024, contemporary artist Jacky Tsai was officially appointed Chief Art Consultant of Am-Sino Healthcare Group, one of China’s leading premium private healthcare providers.
This pioneering collaboration marks a significant cross-disciplinary milestone, bringing contemporary art into the core of high-end medical and wellness environments.

Known for his distinctive visual language that merges Chinese cultural heritage with Western pop aesthetics, Tsai has exhibited internationally in London, New York, Hong Kong, Moscow and Singapore, and has collaborated with global luxury brands including Bulgari, La Mer and Lane Crawford.

Through this long-term partnership, Tsai will develop a series of site-specific artistic projects and spatial interventions for Am-Sino’s flagship institutions, beginning with the Shanghai Am-Sino Women’s and Children’s Hospital and its maternity care centre.

The initiative aims to redefine the traditional perception of medical space — transforming it into an environment that is:

emotionally supportive
culturally engaging
aesthetically inspiring

By integrating art into healthcare architecture and patient experience, the collaboration introduces a new model in which visual culture, wellbeing and medical excellence coexist.

For Tsai, whose practice has consistently explored the dialogue between tradition and contemporary life, this project represents a natural extension of his artistic philosophy:

“This is the first time I bring my artistic language into the healthcare system. It is not about decoration, but about creating an atmosphere where people feel warmth, dignity and emotional connection.”

As Am-Sino continues to expand its high-quality medical network across China, this collaboration signals a forward-looking vision — positioning art as a vital component of future healthcare environments.
